Chrome plated steel. Non-vented (high) left side. A little smaller in diameter then their late model L73-82 style counterpart. These early caps will physically fit L73-82 tanks as well since the bayonet style fitting of early fuel tank is identical from 1936-1982. OEM replacement reference 61103-65
